YONGNUO YN50mm F1.8S DA DSM II is a standard prime lens for Sony camera, it is APS-C frame, f/1.8 large aperture, and support Auto Focus. Which is upgraded version of YN50mm F1.8S DA DSM.

Compared with YN50mm F1.8S DA DSM, the main upgrades of the second-generation are:
  • 1. Anti-fouling fluorine coating treatment, which has better oil and water repellency, effectively reduces dust and stains from adhering to the lens, and is easy to clean;
  • 2. The rear shell of the mirror is spray-painted, which is comfortable to hold and effectively reduces fingerprint residue;
  • 3. Adopt low-dispersion glass lens to better suppress the dispersion problem;
  • 4. Upgrade the focusing algorithm of the digital control stepping motor (DSM), the focusing sound is small, and the focusing precision is high, fast and accurate.
